Henderson Associates Architects completed the Predesign Phase for the December 1, 2006 IHDA Application.

Meachum Crossing is a proposed development of multi-family housing located in Venice, Illinois.  Preparing the site for new construction includes demolishing the existing Lee Wright Housing Units including all of the existing site amenities, both above and below grade.  New construction will consist of redeveloping the 18-acre site, with 78 affordable rental units for low-income families utilizing HUD’s mixed financing concept.  The project will be designed to satisfy all local, state and federal regulations and will be fully accessible by ADA standards with 5% of the rental units being accessible by ADA standards.
